Basic Life Support

Family and Friends (CPR & First Aid)

Where: JFK Medical Center
Date: Day: Saturday, 6/12, 8/14, 10/10 and 12/12;/ Evening Classes: 5/19, and 6/15
Time: CPR 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; First Aid 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.; CPR 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Info: Target Audience: New Parents or anyone who would like to learn CPR without the need for a certification.
CPR includes Adult, Infant and Child CPR and choking for the lay rescurer. 

First Aid includes basics, medical and injury emergencies.

Each course is 3 hours long.

No card will be issued for this awareness course.

CPR for Healthcare Providers

Where: JFK Medical Center
Date: May through December classes
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Info: Target Audience: Doctors, Nurses, EMTs, Paramedics and Physical Therapists.  This course is also open to the public.

Adult, Infant and Child CPR, 1 & 2 Rescuer and FBAO, Barrier Devices and AED (Automated External Defibrilator).

Upon completetion of this 4.5 hour course you will receive a certification card which is renewable every 2 years.

Info: Target Audience: Caregivers or anyone who needs a certification for basic first aid.

Course includes general principles, medical emergencies, injury and environmental emergencies.

Caregivers who complete this 3 hours course will receive a certification card which is renewable in 2 years.

Course Fee is $55.
