The Center for Behavioral Health, located on the JFK Medical Center campus, provides a wide array of comprehensive outpatient services for individuals suffering from substance abuse or mental health problems. It has served the community for more than 25 years.
Licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health, Division of Addiction Services, and reviewed independently as a specialty department by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the Center is staffed by a Board Certified psychiatrist as well as licensed psychologists, licensed clinical social workers and licensed addiction specialists. Therapy, which comprises medical and behavioral evaluation and treatment, is provided to patients and families in individual and group settings. In addition, we offer a variety of substance abuse groups that includes an educational component and Intensive Outpatient Program.
Our STEPS department, located at the JFK - Muhlenberg Campus in Plainfield, is an outpatient substance abuse programs and has provided services to the community for more than 15 years. Our licensed addiction specialists provide myriad therapeutic and educational treatment options to individuals suffering with addiction.
Pre-certification from insurance companies is suggested.
